What's the difference between a staycation and a regular hotel booking?
A staycation is a hotel booking with resident benefits — exclusive resident-only rates, free upgrades where available, flexible cancellation, and often complimentary perks like late checkout or dining credit. We negotiate these directly with each property and pass the value back to you. No hidden markups.
Do you charge a booking fee on top of the hotel rate?
No. Our commission is paid by the hotel, not by you. You'll never see a markup, a service fee, or a hidden charge on a Rayna Tours staycation quote. Often we beat the rate you'd find online.
How do I know I'm getting a real resident rate?
We send your Emirates ID or visa copy directly to the hotel at booking — it's how the resident rate is authorised. The rate you see is the rate you pay. We can also email you the hotel's confirmation document.
Can I book transfers, dining, or theme park tickets with my stay?
Yes — that's our specialty as a destination management company. We bundle airport pickups, hotel-to-hotel transfers, Aquaventure, Ferrari World, IMG Worlds, Wild Wadi, Yas Waterworld, Bollywood Parks, dhow cruises, desert safaris, and private dining. One booking, one invoice, one team.
What if I need to cancel or change my dates?
Most resident rate bookings allow free cancellation up to 48–72 hours before check-in, and date changes are usually flexible. Specific terms depend on the property and rate — we'll confirm the exact policy in writing before you pay.
Can I walk into one of your offices instead of booking online?
Absolutely. Our Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah offices are open daily from 9am to 7pm. Walk in, meet a consultant, and plan your staycation over Arabic coffee. Addresses and directions are in the Offices section.
What if I'm on a tight budget — are these resorts all out of reach?
Not at all. We have resort options at every price tier across all five emirates, and rates change frequently. Tell us your budget when you enquire — we'll match you with the right property and the right season for what you want to spend.
Can you arrange staycations for large families or groups?
Yes. We regularly arrange family villas, multi-room bookings, and group rates for 8–40 person groups. RAK and Fujairah have particularly strong group offerings — speak to us about connecting rooms and group dining inclusions.
