Is Fujairah good for non-swimmers and beach beginners?
Yes — the East Coast has gentle surf year-round, far calmer than the open Gulf. Resort beaches are sandy and lifeguarded.
Can I see Snoopy Island from the hotel?
Le Méridien Al Aqah and Miramar both have direct beach views of Snoopy Island. Snorkelling gear is available on the beach.
Is the drive scary or off-road?
Entirely paved highways. The Sharjah–Kalba road through the mountains is the most scenic — allow extra time to enjoy the views.
What's the diving like?
Visibility 8–15 metres, water 24–30°C year-round, healthy coral and 200+ reef fish species. Beginners welcome at every resort dive school.
